Well, My Sister... LET ME INTRODUCE MYSELF.
I’m Ché Myers, and I have been in the same spot as you. I was successful and doing well in my noble field, and secretly, I was absolutely unfulfilled and unchallenged. It was confusing. I have always had an overwhelming desire to help people, and I never found the exact career that allowed me to fully exercise my desires. The more I worked as an employee, pretending to want to participate in climbing the career ladder, the more incomplete I felt. I had a need for freedom, to use my strengths and creativity to make a big impact in the world in my own unique way.
I didn’t grow up surrounded by entrepreneurs, and no one ever taught me that I could make money with my gifts. I was taught to go to school, do well, and get that good job. I was also taught that you stay on that good job until you retire so you can have your benefits. My path in life was given expectation from family and others around me. As an obedient child, I did not object...even into adulthood. But I wasn't able to keep up the facade of contentment. A great part of me still wanted to "spread my wings" to explore my own passions.
So, at the peak of my career, I broke away from all that I was taught and stepped into a world of unknowns.
I spent two years figuring out how to run a successful online business and make money doing what I love. One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is that everything I need is inside of me. My job is to lean in, be curious, explore, and connect to it. Sounds cute and philosophical, but to an academic, a professionally minded-person, it was a complete paradigm shift!
Along my journey, I’ve also come to realized that all of my experiences, education, and even my frustrations led me to where I am standing right now. So, I am able to leverage my experiences, strengths, and creativity to do the very thing I was created to do. AND…I get to do it using my voice, my heart, and my style. It’s the most exhilarating thing in the world.
Ain’t nothing like it!
This is why I am so passionate about helping women find their voice, embrace what makes them unique (the good, the bad, and the ugly), and unleash their passion as they pursue their purposeful entrepreneur endeavors. No one can do it like you. It’s the very reason you exist. You were uniquely designed for this! And I am so excited to share with you what I have learned to help propel you into your journey so you can stop pretending to be happy on your job and create a successful business making money doing what makes your heart sing.
