What Am I Really Doing?

Time freedom, unlimited earning potential, autonomy, follow your passion, build your dreams, be your own CEO, march to the beat of your own drum. These are many reasons entrepreneurs decided to escape from the J-O-B and start a business. However, once it's time to call the shots, many are faced with the dilemma of "What am I really doing?"

It's not that they lacked sincerity in becoming a business owner. The truth is, more online business owners are entering the scene with limited foundations in business and struggle to organically acquire the needed habits and practices to run a successful business.

Where is the Starting A Successful Online Service-Based Business for Dummies guide?

When you decided to start a business, you most likely dreamed that by doing so, you would achieve freedom and more balance in your life. Unfortunately, many new and still emerging entrepreneurs struggle to find the connection to the freedom they envision and balance they seek.

Why?

These entrepreneurs are committed to growing their businesses and doing what needs to be done to achieve success. The problem is, many are not completely sure of what to do in their business on a regular basis.

Over the past three weeks, I have surveyed over 100 female entrepreneurs who have been in business less than 12 months. These women run service-based businesses in the online space.

Their struggles include:

Lack of a clearly defined target audience
Lack of a specified message to connect with the target audience
Have misaligned services/pricing that does not make sense
Not tapping into true passion, creativity, and skills
Unclear marketing strategies
Unsure of how to build and maintain relationships with email subscribers
Unsure of how to be visible where target audience is located

Business-building for them has become more like working mandatory overtime on a holiday with no pay.

Can you relate to any of their struggles?

While this list may seem regretful and dismal, there is definitely light at the end of the tunnel.

First, these female entrepreneurs show great strength and determination. They've taken a huge leap of faith to begin their endeavors and have invested an enormous amount to time and attention. While they have hit the wall in different directions, they still wake up with an optimistic view that today will be that day [success breakthrough].

Second, they show commitment to serve. These women are very sincere in serving a greater purpose. They know their WHY and are focused on walking in their calling.

And finally, there is still time to get it right. Even with less than two and a half months until the new year, these women can still make massive gains in their business through their impact, influence, and certainly through income this year.
